A Systematic Study on the Genus Hypnea (Gigartinales, Rhodophyta) in Korea

This is the third report of the investigation about fresh-water algae collected from several swamps and reservoirs in Changnyong county (Kyungnam province). This paper deals with the total 10 taxa belonging to 10 genera which are recorded for the first time in Korean fresh-water algal flora. Among these algae, the 5 genera: Epipyxis Ehrenberg, Cystodinium Klebs, Stylodinium Klebs, Glaucocystis Itzigsohn and Raphidiopsis Fritsch and Rich had not previously been recorded in Korea.
