ABSTRACT
Taxonomic notes are given to the three species of Bryopsis, B. plumosa (Hudson) C. Agardh, B. corymbosa J. Agardh and B. stolonifera sp. nov. collected from Ullungdo Island, Korea. B. plumosa is distinguished by distichous laterals, elongate lower ramuli and naked basal portion of main axes and laterals. B. corymbosa is characterized by irregular radial and rhizoidally growing of ramuli, and slender flaccid frond. B. stolonifera differs from the others by a dwarf thallus in 0.5-1 cm height, creeping rhizoidal base, rare short distichous or radial ramuli, and conspicuous septa between ramuli and main axes. The plants examined are all sterile.
