Flora of Marine Algae in Cheju Island 1. Ulvaceae

ABSTRACT
A a part to investigate marine algal flora of Cheju Island, Ulvaceae, Chlorophyta, was identified and described in this paper. Twelve species in total were four Ulvas, one Blidingia, six Enteromorphas and one Capsosiphon. Among them Ulva lactuca Linne and Capsosiphon fulvescens (C. Ag.) Setchell et gardner were first described in this island. Enteromorpha multiramosa Bliding was recorded for the first time in Korea.
